Workforce & Economic Development
Plant City Youth Forensic Science Classes, member of the Plant City EDC, and redevelopment of the former Coronet Mine for light industrial use. .

Quality of Life
Free services to local veterans assisting them in navigating the veteran affairs process to update, review and apply for initial VA benefits. Awarding college scholarships. Hosting events to build a sense of community.

Cultural
Own and operation of the Plant City Bing Rooming House African American Museum, Annual Plant City MLK Festival, and Black History Month tours..

Promote new community ownership through LED Projects that include business nodes in either Lincoln/Madison Park Neighborhoods.
Support City of Plant City’s development projects – Main Street, Midtown, Lakeside Station, and County Line Commerce Center Projects.

Provide active voice for residents living in City of Plant City, along with members of the broader community, with respect to investments made and services available in their communities as both owners and consumers.
Cultural Enhancements
Preserve African American History and Diaspora in Plant City through the Bing Rooming House Museum.
Activities and projects include – operation of the Plant City Bing Rooming House African American Museum, Annual Plant City MLK Festival, Blues, BBQ & Berries and Taste of Laura Street.
